A Grand Ol' Auction

HUNTINGTON -- Prestera Foundation is pleased to announce its upcoming seventh annual Huntington Grand Ol' Auction at 6 p.m., Friday, May 30, at the Keith-Albee Performing Arts Center in downtown Huntington.

Funds raised will be given to Prestera Center for Mental Health Services.

A live auction will begin at roughly 8 p.m. and include a 2007 PT Cruiser Convertible from Spurlock Dodge, a trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., a football signed by Chad Pennington in his rookie year of NFL play, a Marshall University team signed football, and many other items. A silent auction will run until approximately 7:30 p.m. with a variety of items.

Proceeds from this year's auction will be used to furnish Aliff Place, an assisted living apartment complex that Prestera Center is building in Fort Gay. The apartments will provide a safe and affordable living setting for chronically mentally ill clients who are capable of living independently but cannot afford this type of arrangement otherwise.
