ASHLAND -- Two people were arrested on drug charges Thursday after Kentucky State Police received a tip about suspicious activity at a home in Danleyton, Ky., in Greenup County.

When troopers arrived at the residence along Josephine Lane, they discovered "numerous" illegal times in the residence, according to a press release from the Kentucky State Police.

A small quantity of unspecified pills, marijuana and numerous types of drug paraphernalia were located in the residence. During the course of the investigation it was determined a juvenile and elderly female were being cared for at the residence.

Earl R. Jenkins, 46, and Jo E. Jenkins, 35, were arrested at the scene and each was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and wanton endangerment.

Both were incarcerated in the Greenup County Detention Center.
