Two injured in Lawrence County mobile home fire
LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio -- A mobile home fire in northern Lawrence County sent two people to the hospital.
The fire was reported around 4 a.m. Monday along Ohio 373, according to a dispatcher with Lawrence County 911.
The dispatcher said two residents were taken to the hospital with smoke inhalation and cuts. Officials said they were a mother and son who escaped by jumping through a window.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. Volunteer fire departments from Elizabeth and Decatur townships responded to the scene.
