Police blotter: Owner reports 1998 Ford Ranger stolen on 5th Avenue

The following information was provided by the Huntington Police Department:

The 51-year-old owner of a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup truck reported it stolen while it was parked in the 400 block of 5th Avenue in Guyandotte on Sunday.

The truck was valued at $5,600.

BATTERY: A 19-year-old woman reported being assaulted by numerous females while in a bar in the 1300 block of 4th Avenue on Sunday.

ROBBERY: A 19-year-old woman walking in the 1600 block of 8th Avenue reported being robbed by unknown individuals on Sunday. Stolen items included her purse, credit card and license. Stolen items totaled $30.

ARMED ROBBERY: A 52-year-old man reported being assaulted while he was walking in the 900 block of 24th Street on Saturday. The victim was found with a swollen, bruised eye and other injuries to his face Nothing was reported stolen.

BATTERY: A 26-year-old man reported being assaulted while leaving a bar in the 1400 block of 4th Avenue on Saturday. The victim received a busted nose and cuts in his mouth.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Employees at Uno Chicago Grill at Pullman Square reported an unknown man entered the restaurant and attempted to rob them on Saturday. Nothing was reported stolen.

ROBBERY: A 26-year-old woman walking in the 4400 block of Altizer Avenue reported being robbed on Saturday. The victim said two unknown individuals dressed in all black pushed her to the ground and stole her purse. The victim said she struggled with the suspects and received scratches on her arm and leg. The purse was later recovered.

BURGLARY: A 40-year-old woman in the 1400 block of 8th Avenue reported her laptop computer and cash stolen from her residence on Friday. Stolen items totaled $2,100.

LARCENY: A 72-year-old man in the 600 block of Washington Avenue reported a $2,000 air conditioning unit stolen from his residence on Friday.

The following information was provided by the Cabell County Sheriff's Office:

An employee with B&L Exhaust, Rim & Tires in Lesage reported several things missing from the shop located in the 6300 block of Ohio River Road on Friday. Stolen items included tools, an amplifier, stereo, subwoofer, binoculars and 50 CDs. Stolen items totaled $1,085.

The following information was provided by the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:

Christopher Michael Hamlin, 33, was incarcerated at 10:50 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a felony bench warrant from circuit court. Bond was denied.

Keith Matthew Johnson, 42, was incarcerated at 8 p.m. Sunday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony nighttime burglary. Bond was $10,000.
