St. Mary's begins renovation

Sep. 01, 2013 @ 11:53 PM

HUNTINGTON -- St. Mary's Medical Center will begin the renovation of its main hospital entrance on Tuesday, Sept. 3.

During the construction, the current main entrance will be closed, and patients and visitors will be redirected to use the Outpatient Center entrance as their main entryway to the medical center.

Additional signage and personnel will be positioned throughout the campus to assist patients and visitors in finding their way through the medical center.

The renovation is scheduled to be completed in mid-November.

The new entrance is part of an overall campus beautification project that will create both a more attractive and more environmentally friendly facility, according to a news release from the hospital.

The project will also improve pedestrian and traffic circulation throughout the campus.
