DUNLOW -- The harmonies of gospel music rang through the air Sunday afternoon at Cabwaylingo State Forest in southern Wayne County.
With an antique car show and a large cookout, the annual Maynard family reunion has all the makings of a late summer festival but started out in 1935 as a way to bring family together.
Seventy-eight years later, the huge event features music, games and awards. It even has its own shuttle bus, drawing hundreds of people, including Maynards and non-Maynards from miles around.
