Huntington robbery case goes to grand jury
HUNTINGTON — Robbery suspect Brian Keith Hensley waived his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday morning in Cabell County Magistrate Court. His case now proceeds to a grand jury.
Hensley, 39, of Huntington was charged with three counts of first-degree robbery and one count of bank robbery, all felonies.
The charges are linked to robberies at the 20th Street People’s Bank on June 8, the Washington Boulevard Chevron on June 16, the 5th Avenue 7-11 on June 18 and the 4th Avenue Jimmy Johns on June 19.
Magistrate Darrell Black said prosecutors agreed to give Hensley’s defense access to their case file, in return for him waiving his right to the hearing.
