Goodwins to be honored by Education Alliance
CHARLESTON -- The Education Alliance will honor Judge Joseph R. Goodwin and Secretary Kay Goodwin at its annual dinner celebration, starting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Charleston Marriott Town Center.
As part of the event, Blenko Glass has specially designed 31 stained glass stars for the table centerpieces.
Goodwin serves as the U.S. District Court judge for the Southern District of West Virginia, and he has served as chief judge since 2007. Kay Goodwin serves as Gov. Joe Manchin III's cabinet secretary for the West Virginia Department of Education and the Arts.
