Two jailed on heroin charges
CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- Two men from opposite ends of Kentucky were arrested Tuesday night on heroin charges.
A press release identified those arrested as Joshua J. Howard, 26, of Ashland, and Blake J. Laudahl, 24, of Eddyville, in western Kentucky. Both were charged with first-degree trafficking.
The release, issued by the Boyd County Sheriff's Office, states deputies seized heroin and money upon executing a search warrant that followed two men selling the drug to a confidential informant.
The arrests occurred at 10:22 p.m. Tuesday in the 2300 block of Beech Street.
The informant was working on behalf of the Sheriff's Drug Task Force.
