Wayne Blotter: Guns reported stolen in Wayne
The following information was provided by reports filed by the Wayne County Sheriff's Office:
BREAKING AND ENTERING:
A 42-year-old Wayne man reported his mother came to his house in the 2700 block of Garretts Creek Road during the afternoon of Nov. 12 and noticed the garage door open and several guns missing. After looking around the house, the man reported three guns, a pocket knife and three pieces of jewelry were stolen. The total loss is estimated to be about $1,200.
An 81-year-old Huntington man reported someone busted the glass door to a commercial building in the 1100 block of Vernon Street, Huntington, and stole more than $1,000 worth of tools between Nov. 9 and Nov. 12.
PETIT LARCENY: A 28-year-old Crum woman reported someone stole guns and medication from her home in the 100 block of Happy Bottom Road between Nov. 3 and Nov. 4. She noticed the back door of her home open and noticed someone had forced open a gun cabinet and taken medication. The total loss is estimated to be $1,000.
