Eight jailed on felony charges

BARBOURSVILLE -- Eight people were booked on felony charges at the Western Regional Jail between Friday and Saturday evenings.

Richard Doyle Chastain, 41, was incarcerated at 3:45 p.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with violating home confinement. Bond was denied.

Terry Gene Garner, 48, was incarcerated at 2:25 p.m. Saturday. Authorities in Wayne County charged him with grand larceny, nighttime burglary, and first-offense DUI. Bond was denied.

Asa Dean Christian Pauley, 30, was incarcerated at 1:05 p.m. Saturday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with third-offense domestic battery and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was denied.

Cayden Ray Briscoe, 19, was incarcerated at 12:45 p.m. Saturday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with a felony bail piece. Bond was $5,000.

Stephanie Renee Garnett, 27, was incarcerated at 7:15 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Putnam County charged her with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was denied.

Joshua Ryan Withrow, 24, was incarcerated at 5:20 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with failure to appear in court. Bond was denied.

Larry Todd Brumfield, 26, was incarcerated at 12:15 a.m. Saturday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony wanton endangerment. Bond was $10,000.

Joseph Smith, 33, was incarcerated at 7:15 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with nighttime burglary. Bond was $25,000.
