Walk for Women set for Oct. 19 at Ritter Park
HUNTINGTON -- The "Walk for Women" event for breast cancer will be held Sunday, Oct. 19, at Ritter Park.
Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the walk will begin at 2 p.m., beginning and ending at the Ritter Park shelter.
Walk for Women is a West Virginia-founded breast cancer awareness walk intended to raise awareness of the need for breast cancer screening and to honor breast cancer survivors and remember those who have died.
