Ohio man arrested on drug charges
PROCTORVILLE, Ohio -- The Lawrence County Drug and Major Crimes Task Force, together with area police agencies, seized pills, cash and a firearm as its members executed a search warrant early Tuesday at a residence along Prichard Street in Proctorville, Ohio.
Travis S. Moore, 31, of Proctorville, was arrested and charged with several counts of third-degree drug trafficking, a felony. He was detained at the Lawrence County Jail. Arraignment was set for Friday, according to a release issued by the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office.
Officers seized oxycodone and Xanax pills during the raid. The house was located in the first block of Prichard Street.
The case involved a three-month drug investigation.
Participating agencies included the Lawrence County Sheriff's Office and the Proctorville Police Department. The task force also includes members from the Lawrence County Prosecutor's Office and the Ironton Police Department.
