Program brings free immunizations to area

LUCASVILLE, Ohio -- The mobile health program of the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine is bringing free childhood immunizations to Scioto and Lawrence counties Monday, Oct. 13.

The Childhood Immunization Program will provide free routine immunizations for all area children from birth through 18 years of age.

The service is available to families of all incomes, even those with insurance coverage. To receive immunizations, parents should bring their child's previous shot records.

The program will be at the Lucasville Volunteer Fire Department from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and at the Wheelersburg Kroger from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
