WAYNE -- While Christmas Day 2012 is in the books, one local church still had the holiday spirit on full display Friday night.
In celebration of the holiday season, the Wayne United Methodist Church presented a special dinner theater with a performance of the play "Virgil's First Christmas" by Eddie McPherson.
The play is a comedy which tells of the "adventures of a country yokel in a large city church," according to a press release from the church.
A second performance of the show is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29. Tickets for the event cost $12 for adults and $6 for children, and they include the cost of dinner, which features an appetizer, salad, spaghetti and desserts.
