Blotter: Local business reports at least $4,500 in metal stolen
The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
BREAKING AND ENTERING: An employee with Siberian, LLC reported someone cut a lock on a door of a building the company owns in the 700 block of West 3rd Street sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning and took $500 in copper from the building. The employee also told police four metal trusses, worth between $4,000 and $5,000 were taken from the property last Sunday.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: An employee of the American Red Cross office located in the 1100 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard reported someone removed a catalytic converter from a box truck belonging to the organization sometime between Wednesday evening and Thursday morning. The damage to the vehicle was estimated at $200.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: Jason Edward Adams, 35, of Chesapeake, Ohio, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and misdemeanor possession of a concealed deadly weapon Thursday.
Officers responded to the 200 block of Buffington Street on Thursday afternoon for a report of shots fired in the area. Officers located a man in a vehicle in the area, and they discovered a revolver, prescription pain pills, marijuana and $757 in cash in his possession.
PETIT LARCENY: A 24-year-old man reported someone removed $600 in copper plumbing from a rental property he owns in the 3500 block of Hillside Drive on Wednesday or Thursday.

Emily Rose Hill, 20, was incarcerated at 2:10 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony daytime burglary. Bond was $20,000.
Richard Lonnie Crouch, 32, was incarcerated at 2:10 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony daytime burglary. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Christine Michelle Hayes, 30, was incarcerated at 1:50 p.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony grand larceny and misdemeanor destruction of property. Bond was $40,000.
Jody Ross Atkins, 44, was incarcerated at 11:28 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony failure to appear. Bond was denied.
Steven Michael Newman, 19, was incarcerated at 3:45 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Caleax Dominique Jenkins, 20, was incarcerated at 4:10 a.m. Friday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with delivery of a controlled substance. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
