Raffle to raise funds for mesothelioma research
Buffalo, W.Va., native Missy Bowles is in her fourth year of raising awareness for mesothelioma, a disease that claimed the life of her father, and research funds for Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation. She will conduct a raffle drawing for a Valentine's Day basket, including items such as a Michael Kors wallet, psychic reading with Jerry Lee, a night's stay at the Mardi Gras Casino and Resort, dinner certificates for Mardi Gras Casino and Resort and Buffalo Wild Wings, jewelry, gift cards, candy and more. Value is more than $250.
The basket will be displayed at the Teays Valley, W.Va., tanFASTiq store across from Kmart.
Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased at any tanFASTiq location in Cross Lanes, Elkview and Teays Valley through Wednesday, Feb. 13.
All process benefit the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation.
