Screenings offered for local 'Biggest Loser'
HUNTINGTON -- American Health Centers will host three screenings for its "Biggest Loser" campaign for 2013. Screenings, which are open to the public, will include a weigh-in, height measurement and blood pressure check.
Interested individuals may attend one of the following sessions:
6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, American Health Centers of Huntington, 4540 U.S. 60, Huntington.
6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 21, American Health Centers of Ashland, 1301 Winchester Ave., Ashland.
Candidates who are chosen must commit to an eight-week program following nutritional meal plans daily and meetings three times a week for personal training. Selected contestants will compete for a free three-year membership.
Last year, four participants were selected. Sixteen will be selected for this campaign, according to a press release.
