Fitness event raises funds for heart care

Purchase this photoUNTINGTON -- Several people were shaking it in the right direction Friday night during a Zumba For Heart event at Christ Temple Church.
The event benefited the Go Red For Women fund of the American Heart Association, and it was sponsored by St. Mary's Medical Center.
In addition to an evening of Zumba, participants also had the chance to be part of a heart healthy cooking demonstration as well as win door prizes.
The evening's event followed a daytime Zumba demonstration at Central City Elementary by Tara Romano, a Zumba choreographer, during which the entire student body got a taste of the dance fitness craze.
