Crash causes traffic snarl on W.Va. 152
HUNTINGTON -- A crash involving a pickup truck and a box truck congested travel at a busy interchange in Cabell County on Friday evening.
The crash was reported to Cabell County 911 dispatchers at about 6:30 p.m. A box truck traveling north on 5th Street Hill, which is W.Va. 152, attempted to make a left turn onto the eastbound entrance ramp of I-64 when it struck a pickup truck that was traveling south on the road, dispatchers said.
The pickup truck was pinned against the guardrail, and the driver was trapped inside for a short time according to dispatcher reports. One person was transported to the hospital according to dispatchers.
Traffic in the area was slow-moving for a short amount of time while crews cleared the scene.
