HUNTINGTON -- A Huntington man was arrested Saturday in connection with an armed robbery at a drive-through gold and silver exchange business that occurred Friday.

Danny Ray Napier II, 27, was charged with first-degree robbery in addition to an unrelated misdemeanor capias charge out of Wayne County, Huntington Police Det. Ryan Bentley said in a press release.

The robbery took place at the Gold and Silver Exchange at 2565 5th Avenue.

A man approached the drive-through window at the the business at 10:30 a.m. Friday and he acted as if he wanted to pawn jewelry.

Instead, he brandished a handgun toward the employee at the store and demanded money.

Law enforcement released an image of the suspect, who was described as having dark hair and a mustache, Friday evening, but Bentley said it appeared Napier obtained a haircut and shaved his mustache prior to his arrest.

Napier was arraigned in Cabell County Magistrate Court on Saturday, and his bond was set at $100,000.
