Man reports being stabbed while walking on 29th Street
The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
MALICIOUS WOUNDING: Officers were dispatched to a local hospital for a report of a stabbing incident just before 3 a.m. Thursday.
When officers arrived, they located the victim, a 25-year-old man, who reported he was walking north along 29th Street between 2nd and 4th avenues a short time prior to filing the report. He said an unknown person came up from behind him and stabbed him in the abdomen. He told officers he did not get a good look at the suspect or see which way the suspect fled.
The man was treated at the hospital for the stab wound.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A 45-year-old man reported someone used an unknown item to scratch the paint on his vehicle while it was parked in the 500 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard on Wednesday. The vehicle sustained $1,000 in damage.
The following information was provided by criminal complaints filed in Cabell County Magistrate Court:
Therese Helene Hatcher, 54, who has addresses listed in Huntington and Orlando, Fla., was charged with felony rental fraud in connection with a 2010 incident.
A warrant was issued for Hatcher's arrest in 2010 after she rented a pickup truck worth $25,000 from the U-Haul store located in the 1500 block of 9th Avenue in April 2010 and failed to return it five days later, according to the criminal complaint.
Hatcher has maintained possession of the vehicle while living in Orlando, according to the complaint.
Hatcher's bond was set at $10,000.

Aaron Vaninwagen, 30, was incarcerated at 3:55 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with felony operation of a clandestine lab. Bond was $1 million.
Charles Shawn Finley, 31, was incarcerated at 3:35 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony shoplifting, third offense. Bond was $5,000.
Matthew Edward Corrigan, 21, was incarcerated at 12:50 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell Coutny charged him with felony attempted burglary and felony grand larceny. Bond was $35,000.
Charles Michael Grieco, 40, was incarcerated at 11:40 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony malicious assault, felony battery and misdemeanor domestic assault. Bond was $35,000.
Mark Douglas Groves, 52, was incarcerated at 3:25 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony third-offense driving under the influence. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Jonathan Scott Allbaugh, 23, was incarcerated at 1:55 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with felony unlawful wounding. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
