HUNTINGTON -- A number of health-conscious classes, programs and screenings are scheduled in the Tri-State this week. Some of the activities offered in the area:

Baby Care Class, 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, Cabell Huntington Hospital, 1340 Hal Greer Blvd., Huntington. Learn general baby care, feeding, bathing and safety tips. For parents-to-be and also good as a refresher course for grandparents-to-be. Pre-register by calling 304-526-BABY.

Man to Man Prostate Cancer Support Group, Tuesday, March 12, Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital, 1000 Ashland Drive, Russell, Ky. The OLBH prostate cancer support group is free and refreshments will be provided. For more details, call 606-833-CARE.

Living Well with Cancer, noon to 12:45 p.m., Wednesday, March 13, Edwards Comprehensive Cancer Center, Room G99, 1340 Hal Greer Blvd., Huntington. Educational series focused on the different stages of living with cancer. The March 13 topic will be "Problem Solving - Part One." A light lunch will be provided. Blood Pressure Screenings -- Ashland, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 14, YMCA, Ashland. Healthy Community Services at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital will provide free blood pressure screenings. For more information, call 606-833-CARE.
