Group seeks participants for chocolate celebration
HUNTINGTON -- Faith in Action of the River Cities will host the third annual Chocolate Celebration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 20, at the Huntington Mall.
Organizers are seeking caterers, confectioners and restaurants to participate.
Also invited are families, individuals or businesses willing to make and donate themed baskets for the silent auction. Baskets can contain candy, books, videos or anything a child, adult or pet might enjoy. Baskets need to be turned in to the Faith in Action office by Thursday, March 18.
All proceeds benefit Faith in Action, an interfaith organization that provides vital, non-medical assistance free of charge to the elderly and adults with disabilities in Cabell and northern Wayne counties in West Virginia and in Lawrence County, Ohio.
