Drug trafficking, theft among Boyd County grand jury indictments
CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- A Boyd County grand jury returned 17 indictments Friday on charges ranging from drug trafficking to theft, according to the office of Commonwealth's Attorney David Justice.
Franklin A. Morgan, 36, of Catlettsburg, was indicted on charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and being a persistent felony offender.
Donald R. Hulett, 29, of Ashland, was indicted on charges of drug trafficking and being a persistent felony offender.
Sarah L. Lawson, 30, of Olive Hill, Ky., was indicted on charges of wanton endangerment and being a persistent felony offender.
Jason Gussler, 36, of Ashland, was indicted on nine counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument.
Tiffany J. Hicks, 23, of Ashland, was indicted on three counts of trafficking in drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mitchell E. Hicks, 35, of Ashland, was indicted on three counts of trafficking in drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
David S. Melvin Jr., 29, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of drug trafficking.
John F. Christian, 34, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of drug trafficking.
Felicia A. Christian, 36, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of drug trafficking.
Scott A. Thompson, 45, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of drug trafficking.
Oscar E. Leach, 33, of Rush, was indicted on a charge of drug trafficking.
Randall L. Peters, 50, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of drug trafficking.
Joshua Duke, 24, of Greenup, Ky., was indicted on a charge of receiving stolen property.
Teresa G. Prater, 28, of Jackson, Ohio, was indicted on a charge of fraudulent use of credit cards.
Stephanie A. Bentley, 43, Ashland, was indicted on a charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Temaika Hunter, 34, of Louisville, was indicted on a charge of theft of identify.
Erin Day, 25, of Ashland, was indicted on a charge of theft.
An indictment is a formal charge made against a person by a grand jury. It does not establish guilt or innocence.
