HUNTINGTON -- After months of anticipation almost as heavy as the winter snow clouds that dumped inches of snow on the region, the date circled on everyone's calendar is finally here. Saturday marks the first day of spring, and it is kicking off in style: Temperatures Saturday are expected to soar to 70 degrees under partly sunny skies and warm breezes.
Sunday's temperatures will continue to be mild though a bit cooler, topping out in the 60's. But, be warned, enjoy the weather while the sun is out -- late showers will roll in Sunday night and cooler weather will follow for the early part of next week.
