Cancer action center to roll into Ashland July 12

ASHLAND -- A mobile cancer action center will roll into Ashland around 8:30 a.m. Saturday, July 12.

Area residents are invited to visit the Fight Back Express from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Bellefonte Centre (1000 Ashland Drive) on the campus of Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.

The Fight Back Express, a project of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, is on a six-month tour highlighting the role elected officials play in supporting laws and policies that help people fight cancer.

The tour began in Ohio in early May and will travel across the United States through Election Day.

At each stop visitors can share their stories and they'll also have the opportunity to send text messages and write messages on the sides of the Fight Back Express.
