Ironton man dies in one-vehicle accident
IRONTON -- An Ironton area man was killed in a one-vehicle wreck Thursday morning along Ohio 650, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The victim was identified as Donald H. Clark, 68, of Ironton, according to the release.
Clark was driving a 1992 Nissan Sentra northbound on Ohio 650 about 9:25 a.m. Thursday when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole. Clark wasn't wearing a seatbelt, according to the release.
The wreck occurred near the one mile marker.
Clark was pronounced dead at the scene by the Lawrence County coroner, according to the release.
The Ironton Post of the highway patrol responded to a call about an unresponsive driver.
The crash remains under investigation.
