Various environments offered for paintball

SCOTT DEPOT -- Looking for some fun, outdoor competition? Need to entertain an energetic group?

Scary Creek Paintball, located at 434 Scary Creek Road in Scott Depot, offers urban, woods and speedball fields for paintball players of all skill levels.

The facility has been in operation since 1992, and has recently completed some renovations and upgrades.

Paintball guns are available for rent, and each field is watched over by a referee to ensure fair and safe competition. The paintball field is open year-round, and offers amenities such as an outdoor picnic area, indoor rest rooms, locker rooms, snack bar, indoor and outdoor spectator areas, and a shop that sells anything and everything paintball.

Summer hours continue through Sept. 2. They are: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturdays and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. Reservations aren't required, but are recommended.
