Billy Graham evangelist to speak at Pea Ridge

HUNTINGTON -- Rod Barnett, an evangelist with the Billy Graham Evangelical Association, will deliver the sermon at Pea Ridge United Methodist Church at 10:45 a.m. Sunday.

Barnett has worked in the outreach ministry for 14 years. He is a native West Virginian. He received a college degree from Marshall University, completed seminary at Asbury Theological Seminary at Wilmore, Ky., and a earned doctorate from Asbury Theological Seminary.

He has been an evangelist with the United Methodist Church and with the Billy Graham organization as an instructor, festival director and is now managing director of counseling and follow-up.

The church is located at 5747 East Pea Ridge Rd. at the intersection of U.S. Route 60 and East Pea Ridge Road. The Rev. Sue Culbertson Jarrett is pastor.
