Four hurt in US 23 collision

WAVERLY, Ohio -- Four people were injured Saturday in a traffic accident on U.S. 23 in Pike County, according to a news release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Amanda Fisher, 33, of Waverly, was northbound when she lost control of her vehicle and struck a pickup truck heading southbound on U.S. 23. That vehicle was driven by Nicholas Hiles, 21, also of Waverly.

Both drivers were transported by Pike County Emergency Medical Services personnel to Adena Pike Community Hospital.

A passenger in Fisher's Cadillac, Christina Fisher, 31, of Waverly, also was transported to the hospital.

A passenger in Hiles' vehicle, Glenna Cochran, 67, of Waverly, also was transported to the hospital.

The crash remains under investigation, according to the release.
