Organization to assist with winter heating costs
HUNTINGTON -- The West Virginia Aging and Disability Resource Centers are assisting individuals in applying for help with their winter heating costs through the Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP).
The deadline for filing applications is Dec. 18, 2009. If you qualified for this assistance last year, applications can be completed and submitted at any time until then. If you did not apply for assistance last year, new applications can be submitted beginning Dec. 7, 2010.
Interested individuals should call 304-720-6863 or 1-866-981-2372 for assistance with completing an application.
