United Way to host guest speaker for workshop
HUNTINGTON -- United Way of the River Cities will bring in guest speaker Susan Howlett for a fundraising workshop set for Nov. 12, at the Harless Auditorium in the Marshall University Medical Center at Cabell Huntington Hospital.
The event will take place from 8:30 to 4 p.m. and will provide information on how to stop doing the things that do not make sense, focus your resources on the most strategic prospects and methods, raise the most money with the least effort and help others in your organization understand why they need to support your choices.
This is also an opportunity to advertise products or services to a target audience of non profit executives, fund development officers, church and school fundraisers, board members and other community organizers. Very limited vendor space is available.
