Church hosts jewelry fundraiser this Saturday
HUNTINGTON -- Pea Ridge Baptist Church is offering an opportunity to do a little shopping for a good cause.
The church is sponsoring a MERCY Jewelry fundraiser from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday in the church's fellowship hall.
The jewelry is hand-made by Dominican republic women, and the proceeds go to help the women help themselves out of high risk situations. Much of the jewelry contains semi-precious gems or stones.
