Blotter: Police recover vehicle stolen from garage
The following information was provided by reports filed by the Huntington Police Department:
BURGLARY: A Huntington resident reported someone broke into a garage in the 2700 block of Guyan Avenue between Dec. 29 and Jan. 29 and stole multiple automotive items valued at $1,100, damaged one vehicle and stole another vehicle, which was recovered in the 2500 block of Collis Avenue on Jan. 29.
LARCENY: A Huntington woman reported someone threw a brick through her vehicle's window while it was parked at a bar in the 800 block of 8th Street between 9 p.m. Wednesday and midnight Thursday. An iPad, handbag and business checks were among the items reported stolen. The total loss and damage is estimated to be $1,120.
The following information was provided by booking records from the Western Regional Jail:
Monte Allen Dunn, 28, was incarcerated at 1 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with two counts felony violation of home confinement. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
