July 23, 2012 @ 11:20 PM

HUNTINGTON -- You're never too young to learn some engineering.

On Monday morning, kids getting ready to start kindergarten and first grade learned some beginners' robotics in Corbly Hall with "Bee-Bot into Beginning Robotics," one of four, four-day summer camps offered through Marshall University's June Harless Center for Rural Educational Research.

The theme for all the camps this year is Exploring S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics).

The final camp in the series is Pre-Botting Pre-K Readiness Camp, planned for next week, July 30-Aug. 2, for pre-school age children.

All camps will run from 9 a.m. to noon Monday through Thursday, with lunch provided. For more information, contact Holly Moore at miles10@marshall.edu or 304-696-2945, or visit www.marshall.edu/ harless/summercamps to obtain enrollment information.
