No injuries in Huntington fire
HUNTINGTON -- An early morning fire destroyed a home Thursday in the Guyandotte neighborhood, according to Huntington Deputy Fire Chief Jeffrey Earl.
Dispatchers received word of the fire at 4:04 a.m. Thursday in Huntington's 3700 block of Everett Road. Firefighters remained on scene for at least four hours. No injuries were reported.
Earl described the house as a total loss.
Those displaced received assistance from the American Red Cross, Earl said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
