Tax help available at library
HUNTINGTON -- Free tax preparation for those who qualify is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at the Cabell County Public Library.
Hayflich and Steinberg, in partnership with United Way's Financial Stability Partnership's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program, will host Super Tax Site Saturday. Individuals and families who have simple returns and whose household income was less than $49,000 last year are eligible for free tax preparation at all VITA sites.
Professional from Hayflich and Steinberg and other community IRS certified volunteers will be on-hand to offer free tax preparation for hardworking families in the River Cities. There will also be information available on credit repair, debt management, education and retraining for new or improved employment.
