Police arrest four in meth bust
ASHLAND, Ky. -- Four people were arrested following a meth lab bust in the 2000 block of Ike Patton Drive Friday afternoon.
According to the Boyd County Sheriff's Office, deputies found an active meth lab in a home belonging to Douglas W. Menshouse, 58. Two old meth labs were found in the trash outside the home.
Menshouse was arrested at the scene on charges of manufacturing meth, unlawful possession of meth precursors and trafficking a controlled substance.
Three others who were in the home at the time of the bust were also arrested. Brent Johnson, 35, of Greenup; Derek Caudill, 32, of Ashland; and Angela Bailey, 45, of Grayson; have all been charged with manufacturing meth and unlawful possession of meth precursors.
The four suspects are currently behind held without bond in the Boyd County Detention Center.
