Two arrested in early meth raid in Mason County
HENDERSON, W.Va. -- The Mason County Sheriff's Office arrested two people during an early morning methamphetamine raid Tuesday in Henderson, W.Va.
Those arrested were Robert Franklin Jones, 20, of West Columbia, W.Va., and Karen Lee Green, 29, Point Pleasant, W.Va., according to jail records and a press release issued by the Sheriff's Office. Both were charged with felony operating/attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab. They are detained without bond pending arraignment at the Western Regional Jail.
The press release states deputies, following up on a tip, conducted the raid at 1 a.m. Tuesday at a residence in the first block of Forrest Street in Henderson. Inside they found several "shake-and-bake" meth labs in and around the residence. Two were active when deputies arrived.
