Man arrested after shooting at police

LOGAN, W.Va. -- No one was injured after a man fired shots at West Virginia State Troopers Tuesday morning at a house in Logan County.

Troopers were dispatched to a home along White's Addition Road at 9:44 a.m. for a report of a suicidal individual. Once on the scene, troopers encountered 24-year-old John Curis Watkins, who fired one round from a .22 caliber pistol at troopers.

Watkins was apprehended by troopers and charged with felony wanton endangerment.
