Woman to serve 10 years in meth case

CATLETTSBURG, Ky. -- A Boyd County woman was sentenced Friday in Boyd County Circuit Court to 10 years in prison in a drug case, according to the office of Commonwealth's Attorney David Justice.

Tarasa Robinette, 28, of Rush, was sentenced by Judge George B. Davis III to 10 years in prison for manufacturing methamphetamine.

She was among seven people sentenced to prison Friday. Six other people also were sentenced to prison by Judge C. David Hagerman. They were:

n Brandon Shannon, 29, of Ashland was sentenced to five years in prison for burglary.

n Leisa Littleton, 39, of Rush, was sentenced to five years in prison for possession of drugs.

n Harry Reynolds, 37, of Ashland, was sentenced to three years in prison for receiving stolen property.

n Tina Whitt, 38, of Belfry, Ky., was sentenced to three years in prison for possession of drugs.

n Alycia Salyers, 23, of Ashland, was sentenced to a year in prison for theft.

n Amy Nelson, 27, of Ashland, was sentenced to a year in prison for possession of drugs.
