Blotter: Man cited for stealing more than $500 in baby formula
The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
SHOPLIFTING: A 31-year-old Huntington man was issued a citation for shoplifting, second offense Wednesday afternoon. Employees at the Kroger store in the 2600 block of 5th Avenue reported a man attempted to leave the store without paying for $518.06 in baby formula.
LARCENY: A 53-year-old woman someone took $500 in tools from her vehicle while it was parked in the 2300 block of Adams Avenue Wednesday afternoon.
BREAKING AND ENTERING: A 39-year-old man reported someone took $1,130 in tools from his garage in the 500 block of 7th Avenue sometime since March 2011. The man told police he only learned the items were missing after his boss told him he purchased one of the tools from a local pawn shop, and he noticed the tool had the victim's name on it.
The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:
Charles Hunter Turley, 19, was incarcerated at 4:20 p.m. Thursday. Authorities in Putnam County charged him with felony conspiracy, misdemeanor domestic battery and misdemeanor destruction of property. Bond was $5,000.
Lori Ann Mayhon, 38, was incarcerated at 8:40 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Wayne County charged her with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and felony conspiracy. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Ladonna Marlene Adams, 22, was incarcerated at 1:45 a.m. Thursday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony prostitution, accessory before the fact, attempt to commit a felony and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver. Bond was denied pending arraignment.
Timothy Warren Tomblin, 29, was incarcerated Wednesday. Authorities in Lincoln County charged him with felony failure to pay child support. Bond was $10,072.10.
Franklin Scott Eaves, 22, was incarcerated Wednesday. Authorities in Mason County charged him with two counts of felony malicious wounding. Bond was $100,000.
Derek Randall Casteel, 23, was incarcerated Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with a felony warrant for failure to appear in court. He was released on a $10,000 bond.
