LINK wants people to care for children from their own home
HUNTINGTON -- LINK Child Care Resource and Referral is looking for people who want to care for children from their own home.
Home-based child care is one of the many programs LINK assists with through grant funding from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources' Bureau of Children and Families, Early Care and Education.
The agency recruits child care providers, conducts regular training workshops for child care professionals and provides technical assistance such as behavior consultations and the Traveling Resource and Information Library System.

Cabell tech center registering students for ONOW class
HUNTINGTON -- The Cabell County Career Technology Center is registering students for the ONOW class for women interested in a nontraditional career.
The Orientation to Nontraditional Occupations for Women class is free and offers the opportunity to explore careers in power tool usage, basic blueprint reading, industrial safety, basic carpentry skills and apprenticeship information.
