Students participate in historical trivia event at MU
HUNTINGTON -- Cash prizes were up for grabs Thursday night during the annual Black History Month trivia event on Marshall University's campus.
Teams of between two and eight players from various campus and community groups could take their chances during the game show style event, which was sponsored by Marshall's Center for African American Students' Programs.
In addition to the trivia event, the center also will celebrate Black History Month with a Soul Food Feast at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, in the John Marshall Room in the Memorial Student Center on campus.
Finally, the center's annual Diversity Breakfast will be from 7:30 to 8:50 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, in the Don Morris Room in the student center, where Joseph A. Slash, president and CEO of the Indianapolis Urban League will be the guest speaker.
