Work to start on state highway
ASHLAND -- Work could begin as soon as Friday, March 8, on state highway projects that will cost more than $450,000, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
Contractors will install guardrails at least by Tuesday. The guardrail will start just south of Garver Road near Greenfield Road. Lane closures are expected, and traffic will be maintained by flaggers. The other project, scheduled to start next week, will be on Kentucky 168, (Valley View Road) near the Keys Creek Bridge. The bridge will be replaced this summer. Lane closures are expected, according to the release.
