Carseat safety event in Huntington
HUNTINGTON — Children’s safety will be the focus of a child passenger seat clinic and checkup event from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Huntington Walmart at 3333 U.S. 60.
The West Virginia Governor’s Highway Safety Program is hosting the event, where there will be certified technicians and instructors to check children’s car seats at no charge.
Signs will be posted to direct motorists to the check site on the store’s parking lot.
