More than $3,000 in pipe fittings stolen from construction site
The following information was provided by reports filed with the Huntington Police Department:
GRAND LARCENY: An employee of SB&G Corp. reported someone took 20 boxes of plastic pipe fittings worth, $3,444.76, from a construction site where the company is working at KineticPark sometime between Saturday afternoon and Monday morning.
LARCENY: A 44-year-old woman reported someone took $1,500 in electronics from her home in the 800 block of 7th Street sometime between Sept. 20 and Oct. 1 and pawned the items at a local pawn shop. Police have a suspect.
SOLICITING PROSTITUTION: Samantha E. Canterbury, 34, was charged with felony soliciting prostitution, third offense, Monday.
Officers were conducting an undercover operation in the 700 block of 6th Avenue on Monday afternoon when a woman agreed to perform sexual acts on an undercover officer for money.
BREAKING AND ENTERING (AUTO): An Asplundh employee reported forced open a locked storage box on a company vehicle, which was parked in the 200 block of West 3rd Avenue, and took $1,619 in tools sometime Monday night or Tuesday morning.
The following information was provided by booking records at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville:
Whiskey Cyotte Dale Burns, 22, was incarcerated at 12:10 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him with felony receiving and transferring stolen property, misdemeanor disorderly conduct and misdemeanor public intoxication. Bond was $24,000.
Kassandra Lou Peters, 19, was incarcerated at 11:39 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with felony possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and misdemeanor prostitution. Bond was $25,250.
Kevin Glen Billups, 29, was incarcerated at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. Authorities in Cabell County charged him as a fugitive from justice and with misdemeanor open container. Bond was denied.
Amber Marie Bowen, 21, was incarcerated at 6:25 a.m. Authorities in Cabell County charged her with accessory before and after the fact, a felony.
Five people were jailed early Wednesday morning on meth charges out of Putnam County, according to booking records at Western Regional Jail.
Jared Chase Hall, 22; John Matthew Wick, 39; Chad Ryan Show, 24; Jeffrey Scott Childress, 24; Travis Robertson Noble, 23, were all arrested on felony meth charges.
The charges they face include operating a drug lab, a felony; alter meth, a felony; conspiracy and first possession of less than 15 grams of marijuana, both misdemeanors; and possession of meth precursor, a felony.
