Don Perdue appointed to health committee
West Virginia House Health Chairman Don Perdue, D-Wayne, has been appointed to serve as co-chairman of the National Conference of State Legislatures' Health Committee.
The committee is one of 10 committees that deal with both state and state-federal issues in the organization, which lobbies Congress on behalf of states.
The organization's standing committees are comprised of legislators and legislative staff who are appointed by the leadership of their respective legislatures. Perdue will serve a two-year term.
