HUNTINGTON — Marshall University hosted its biannual career expo Wednesday, helping to connect students with local employers for job and internship opportunities.
The good news for students was that many employers said they were actively filling positions or offering some type of internship.
About 80 employers and graduate schools took part in the expo, held in the Memorial Student Center's Don Morris Room.
"We've been here before at Marshall (for the career expo), and we're a big fan," said Paul Martin, a service delivery manager for St. Albans-based Advanced Technical Solutions. "We have picked up a lot of good, quality students."
